The Best of Mondays

I can’t stop watching the highlights and goals from yesterday’s match.  More than just a win, we needed that energy.  We needed to see that the boys know how to play football still.  Some of those passes were just utterly incredible!

This is a great synopsis from South End Scum.  Also greatly appreciate the reminder that Sahin has 5 yellows (ouch).  Stinks that he will not be in the selection for the next match.  Such a crucial match going into the break.  The chance at another 3 points and maybe, just maybe going to second last.  It would be great to see some movement UP the table.  Instead of down or flatlining on the bottom.

The fact that the team was already looking forward to Bochum is a good sign.  I think so anyways.  To me it means that they see the importance to them as players and to the fans.   I believe both groups need a dose of confidence.  Seeing a huge smile on Ewald’s face is just brilliant.

As South End Scum said, I’ll leave it to Ewald to point out where we can continue to improve.  As for me, I’m just going to go back and watch the highlights.
